The Trump Administration’s investigation into the administration of the 2020 presidential election — which Trump lost — has reached Wisconsin. Current and former election officials in the state have confirmed that they’ve been contacted or interviewed by the FBI. U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany was ramping up his campaign this week after earning his party’s nomination for governor at the Wisconsin GOP convention last weekend. But the FBI investigation has brought renewed attention to his election denial in the days, weeks and years since Trump lost in 2020. Henry Redman reports on Tiffany’s latest comments and how bipartisan groups are still working to combat election misinformation in the state.
In response to recent efforts from Republican-controlled southern states to draw majority Black districts out of their political maps, the Congressional Black Caucus and NAACP urged college athletes to refuse to play for SEC schools located in those states.
